Guilt Free Living.

Experiencing feelings of guilt is a common factor in our lives. We sometimes feel guilty when we enjoy ourselves, when we feel trapped or burdened with responsibility or even when we are successful in our endeavours. We tend to be our harshest critics. We criticise ourselves and focus on what goes wrong, rather than celebrating and being grateful for the little wins that often go by unnoticed each day.

How we manage feelings of guilt affects our self esteem, confidence levels and our ability to live the life we want.

Here are our tips towards living guilt free:

• Nurture your inner self
• Make self care a priority
• Make time to celebrate and reward yourself
• Do something you enjoy every day
• Be kind to yourself
• Acknowledge feelings of guilt then let them go
• Eliminate negative self talk (our internal voice of doubt, put downs and self limiting beliefs)
• Focus on positive thoughts and language
• Incorporate positive habits into your daily life
• Establish strong, realistic boundaries
• Connect and communicate with like-minded people, friends and family
• Volunteer or become involved in your community or a cause you are passionate about
• Identify, write down and turn around negative thought patterns
• Attract positive people and energy into your life
• Break the cycle. Be inspired and empowered to instigate change, do something differently and transform your life
